Hooved Animal Rescue
of Thurston County

"Our mission is to connect hooved animals in need with people that can help. We are a non-profit organization, offering a foster home network for the rehabilitation and care of hooved animals that have been impounded by local law enforcement in abuse and neglect cases, pending prosecution."

About Hooved Animal Rescue of Thurston County:

HAR-OTC is the result of a shared idea between Connie Patterson and Joyce Bell that began a few years ago and finally came into reality in November of 1998 when HAR-OTC received its state non-profit status.  The primary goal of this group is to provide a network of foster homes for animals that have been impounded by local law enforcement pending prosecution of the owners for neglect and/or abuse.

HAR-OTC is dependent on volunteers and donations for everything from veterinary expenses to feed.  Please refer to the membership form for ideas on how you may help.  The organization   achieved tax-deductible donation status,  501 (c)(3), in March 2000.

The next meeting has not yet been scheduled.  Please check back.
