McKenzie Road Impound
Below are photos of some of the horses impounded from McKenzie Road, by
the Thurston County Sheriff's Office in January 2007. If you are

Unbroke grey mare pony about 10 yrs old. She lunges, saddle and bridles but is somewhat spooky. She's good with the farrier, bathes, clips and blankets. Very easy keeper and weight has to be watched like a hawk. She has some scars but is a very sweet little girl. About 2 years old Pinto filly, easy to work with, some ground training is about 13.1 hh and still growing. Arab cross?
Paint/pinto gelding, about 2 years old, about 13.2 hh, A little pushy, needs ground work on manners, Ok with farrier.
Grey Arab mare, 20+ years old but acts like she's five. Good with people and other horses, smart curious, broke to ride just fine. Cremelo mare about 3 years old, saddles fine, bathes, good with farrier, trailers, about 14.2 hh Quarter horse, easy to catch. Chestnut gelding about 2 years old easy to work with, clips about 13.1 hh and still growing. Arab Cross? Arab was a stud until about 7 months ago, about 13 years old. A bit swaybacked. Unbroke to ride. He hasn't been able to be turned out with others. About 14.1 hh Clips, bathes, ties.
Black filly about 2 years old sweet disposition, a little pushy about 13.1 hh and still growing. Arab cross? About 3 years old, green, unbroke to ride, Friendly with people, very protective of her food, about 14 hh, Arab cross? Hunter pony prospect?
